Supervision

As a qualified CPCAB supervisor I can offer one to one supervision to other professionals working with adults in therapy. My role is to work with you to enable your work as a therapist to grow and develop in the way you chose.

My aim would be for us to work together in a collaborative way, using both our knowledge and skill set to bring about the best outcome for your clients while also attending to your own personal process and self awareness.

Sometimes this may mean I make challenges to help you to consider a different approach or to turn your attention towards CPD with the aim of bringing new riches to the therapeutic process to enhance and develop your professional capacity, with whichever model of therapy you use. I work mainly with the 7 eyed model which means I can pay attention to several areas of your counselling practice.

Benefits

One of the major benefits of supervision is to maintain a standard in counselling and to adhere to the Ethical code of whichever organisation you belong to; also to give you a space to share your joys and struggles of the therapeutic relationship with clients.

I know from my own supervision that the benefits of good supervision are uplifting and supportive, and something I would aim to bring to my supervision with you.

Working as a Counsellor can be challenging and frustrating, as well as very rewarding, Supervision can be a space for reflection and knowledge to enable growth for all.

I believe the supervisory relationship is key to working together, with this in mind my aim is to provide an environment where you are able to bring yourself and your work without fear of judgement. I will work online or face to face with you, whichever is most available and comfortable to you. I aim to be constructive and sensitive in my feedback to assist your practice. I work with the 7 eye model of supervision as the framework for us to consider what is happening in the room with your clients. My fee for Supervision is £80 for one and a half hours.

I also hold a Level 5 in Psychotherapy and work with a Person Centred model. Although over many years of practice I have learned and developed other areas of therapeutic interventions. So feel confident that I can support your supervision needs.
